Our client take an enthusiastic approach to accountancy and provide their local clients with insightful, valued advice.
The ideal candidate will of worked within an Accountancy Firm previously and be used to flipping between a variety of clients from one call to the next.
Job Title: Bookkeeper
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Hitchin/Letchworth, Hertfordshire
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours // Part Time hours open to discussion
Salary: £22,000k – £30,000k per annum

Bookkeeper/Administrators Duties To Include:
- Telephone/email clients
- Deal with client requests
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Visit client sites to liaise directly with the client re the clients bookkeeping
- Meet deadlines and deal with clients in an efficient manner
- Purchase and sales ledger management
- Maintenance of accounting records using Xero and Iris
- Conduct bookkeeping and data processing for the firms clientele
Bookkeeper/Administrators Essentials:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrate a can do approach to problem solving
Bookkeepers/Administrators Experience And Qualifications:
- Driving Licence and an owner of your own vehicle is a must
- Confident IT user with previous experience of working with Xero, Sage and Microsoft Excel
