RedBeagle Recruitment are working with our client who are a Chartered Accountancy located just outside of Hitchin, in finding them a Bookkeeper. They take an enthusiastic approach to accountancy and provide their local clients with insightful advice. The ideal candidate will of worked within a firm previously as opposed to industry. The nature of firm based requires you to flip between different clients who work within a variety of industries.
Job Title: Bookkeeper
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Hertfordshire
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours
Salary: £22,000k – £28,000k per annum (pending experience, hence the range of salary on offer)

Bookkeepers Duties To Include:
- Telephone/email clients
- Deal with client requests
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Visit client sites to liaise directly with the client re the clients bookkeeping
- Meet deadlines and deal with clients in an efficient manner
- Purchase and sales ledger management
- Maintenance of accounting records using Xero and Iris
- Conduct bookkeeping and data processing for the firms clientele
Bookkeeper Essentials:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrate a can do approach to problem solving
Bookkeepers Experience And Qualifications:
- Driving Licence and an owner of your own vehicle is a must
- Confident IT user with previous experience of working with Xero, Sage and Microsoft Excel
